This work is from a series called “In My Father’s House” that is about my relationship with my father, who died in November 2012. By creating these pieces, I found a way to process my grief at losing him by physically associating some mundane objects he kept close at hand every day of his life – his handkerchiefs – with the photographs he took of me as a young girl.
